Hot Rolled Sheet

Hot-rolled sheets are made using a process called hot rolling. In this process, steel is rolled at a high temperature, which is above the steel’s recrystallization temperature. The high temperature allows the steel to be formed and shaped easily, even in larger sizes.

These sheets are used in places where precise shapes and tolerances are not essential. They can be used to form hot-rolled bars that can then be used for construction and welding trades like railroad tracks etc.
